I have Desktop 1, Desktop 2, and Laptop 1 on a wireless network. The Workgroup name is the same on all. Desktop 1 and Laptop 1 have no problem browsing each others shared folders/printers. On Laptop 1 and Desktop 1 I can see Desktop 2 as an icon under Workgroup computers, but when I double click it, it says "Windows cannot access \\DESKTOP2 Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise there may be a problem with your network. "

However, from Desktop 2, the other two computers are not visible when browsing the Workgroup. Also, from Desktop 2, I can see and browse a shared folder from Laptop 1 under My Network Place. It's the other computers that I can't browse through the Workgroup (to access the shared printers for example)

I've tried disabling the firewall on two of the computers. I also deleted the network adapter on Desktop 2 and reinstalled it. Still getting the same problem.

I think the computers have to be on, and possibly they have to have some shared files?

    on

All 3 computers are on and I have folders shared. Desktop 2 can see the Laptop's shared folder but the Laptop and Desktop 1 can't see Desktop 2's shared folder. I tried connecting to the IP address and it doesn't work either.
