Windows Vista webcam gets disconnected on YM vers 8 on windows vista OS

    Recently I purchased PC with windows vista, whenever i try to log in Yahoo messenger vers 8 , just after 2 minutes it gets not responding message and I am not able to continue.
    What could be reason for this??
    Pl guide how to rectify.

    RECENTLY I brought windows vista OS PC and my nightmare started, first whenever I start YM vers 8 , it use to automatically get disconnected while working in between,then now I have problem on webcam, I am able to see others webcam but when I start my own WEBCAM creative CAM-300(4 years old) on YM, immediately YM displays not responding, can't figure out what is the issue? pl guide.
