How to change folder opening options?

I have somehow changed the way my C drive, CD/DVD drives and floppy drive open. When I double click on them to open the folder it takes me into the search results folder. When I right click and get the drop down list I can manually select open and this works fine.

I have somehow changed the options around and search is highlighted in bold as the primary function -not open as per all my other folders and these used to be.

Does anybody know how I change this back?
