hello everyone im in a little pickle and im looking for some help

I have just configured outlook express to automatically reply to certain emails because i will be using it to send out download links for the products i sell.

I tested this by sending an email from my btinternet.com account to the email address which i use in outlook for paypal. All went well i recieved the email in outlook and it sent back the message i told it to, but when i looked in my btinternet account the email is not there. Ive tried it 5 times now with various email accounts and outlook sends them out fine but they are not received at the other end.

Any help on the subject would be greatly appreciated

    Kind regards
    Trevor

Welcome to the boards. Enjoy your time here.
In one place you say Outlook Express and in another you say Outlook. Which is it?

Maybe btinternet.com that it was a spam mail and blocked it. Can you check on line in the same folder to see it it's there?

Hello and thank you for your replies, it is outlook express that i am using sorry for the confusion. I checked the spam in my btinternet account and it wasn't there. I have just checked the mail boxes now and none of the emails have arrived. I sent an email to myself in outlookexpress and that arrived no problem so i am really confused as to where the emails are going because i dont get a failure email saying they have not been sent.

    Any ideas people ?

    Thanks again
    Trevor

Re check the address in the message rule that you have made to make sure that it is right. If it is, Delete the rule and make a new one and see what happens then.
