OE will for no reason I can figure out disapear. When I try to re-open it, it will just give a quick flash of the logo screen and it gone. I have to re-boot to get it to open again. When I do re-boot it will open with out having to log on. I have Outlook Express 6 and 3 e-mails on it. I think it has happened other times, but it's an almost guarentee it will do it after switching identities and clicking on forward, addresses or just about any thing. I've run a virus scan and don't know anything else to do.
    Anyone have any Ideas?

    Thanks PetC
I tried the link and the process, but in running "regsvr32 urimon.dll" I got the message that "urnimon.dll" could not be found. When I reopened OE I found all the Inbox, deleted and some other directries were empty. I was able to restore it from the nightly backup. I have compacted before and so don't think that caused it. I keep my e-mail in a separate partition "E:\ ". I've had it in that partition for a couple of years. There is a part 2 to the link you gave, where I have to create new idenities. There is 3 idenities in OE. I may try that later. Just don't understand why could find "urimon.dll ".

Thanks again PetC, I looked at the run list and I did have the wrong letter, so I'll try it again.

Pet C, it seems to be working now. I've switched identities a couple of times and it hasn't disapeared.
    Thanks Again
