Windows Vista sound recorder software--THIS works w/Vista!

After a dozen installs of different software, I found a sound recorder (for Internet radio and a bunch o' stuff!) that actually WORKS WITH VISTA!!

Many kudos to Roemer Software for their superb Hi-Q Recorders (one is FREE) and their comprehensive Vista support!

Having exhausted myself with days of "install, uninstall, and repair," I was close to throwing in the towel.

This is definitely of interest to me.

In XP, I was using Total Recorder 6.1, paid, and worth it. But High Criteria cannot get their act together for DirectX.

So, I tried something from NCH, and something else from someone else, not memorable, all crappe.

But I have had good success with Freecorder, and I can still edit and snip etc with Total Recorder.

Please advise, to which software item do you refer?
