AVG finds SVCR32.dll on a daily basis

On a daily basis AVG Scan finds SVCR32.dll, and its put in the vault and then deleted, but the next days AVG Scan Shows its back.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

BTW it's not on my PC, but its on a Friends PC.

 

What's the file path\location that AVG finds it?

AVG says it's located at C:\windows\Svcr32.dll in his Machine.

As PeteC indicates and so does PREVX it doesn't appear to be a threat....yet.

 

Is this ever shown as a running process or just during the scan, AVG flags it?

I'd have the file scanned at Virus Total, don't reply on one vendors opinion. Especially since there are so few hits found via Google.

 

Interesting thought.

As far as running process goes, I won't see my friends PC before Friday, so for now I don't have an answer.

 

Follow up to TeMerc query:

For some reason it has not shown up lately in the PC.....so for now can't say one way or another. Hopefully it's gone for good.
