If you read the entire thread, the problem was fixed.
Links cannot open in the mail program (thunderbird), but rather in the browser. The fix is the sixth message and, it says that this was done:C:\PROGRA~1\MOZILL~1\FIREFOX.EXE -url "%1 "
Firefox is the browser. If you use a different browser, the change should be made accordingly. Message #14 deals with another issue.

    Number 6 worked however,

there were so many fixes within that thread that the user did not have time for me to try all of them. Number 14 did not work and with this in mind, I'm betting any other number would not have worked either so----thank you for shortening my support time!

    Suzette,

Your support time is always ongoing in this Forum. Why don't we forget the other thread, and start over.

Tell us exactly what you are experiencing, what OS you are running, and what browser, you're using. Also what are the versions of your browser and Thunderbird.

    Hi Ramona---

As always, I return to this BBS because it has always helped with any issue I cannot find fixes for.

The computers that "had" problems vary per o/s, email client and configs so, it would have taken me forever to help each one on an individual basis, which is my job. Thank goodness I did not have to perform the 22 or so, suggested tasks.

As always I have nothing but good words for the "administrators" administrating this BBS, and I return here first. I can come here and be successful. Don't have time to read everyone's complaining. In my job, I don't have time to read all the junk. The users problems are always fixed here. Hopefully other people will benefit from the success of this thread.

    Thanks again,
    Suzette
