Ok, the yesterday, my keyboard stopped working... completely... I think it may be dust, or the circuits, but I need a professional diagnosis, can anyone help?

    Few basics .....

Unplug it and plug it in again to check for poor connection- if it is a PS/2 keyboard you most shut down the computer first.

Uninstall/remove through Device Manager and reboot to let it be loaded again.

Substitute it for a keyboard which is known to be functional - this is the true test which will indicate if the fault is with the keyboard or the computer.

A little bit more sense than that shown in the URL you posted - remove it or I will.

Fixed, but it said something about my graphics card not working, but seriously, would I be able to see what I'm doing on the screen with a broken graphics card?

You could try a USB keyboard, but be aware that unless you have a modern BIOS USB is not supported while the computer boots .......

Why doesn't my keyboard work until Windows is running?

So you would still need a PS/2 keyboard for the times you would want to use the keyboard during boot - e.g. to get into Safe Mode by pressing F8.

Did you try my earlier suggestion ? ....

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's the circuitry. I'll wait till Christmas.

If it is not a malfunction on the keyboard it could be a problem with the PS/2 port on your computer - does this look OK? Is the port firm in the case - no loosness and does the keyboard plug fit tightly?

No, seems like an internal problem... I'll check soon.
