Gish IT

The last time I checked here I was the only one using the email address program GishIT which was an Add-On that I installed from the Mozilla site.

I know that they are not responsible for those programs and all I am trying to do is find out if anyone else here is using the program now and if they are running into any issues.

I can't get to the web site. Something else comes up and I've been unable to contact the author.

I just need to know if it's defunct or what.

Add-ons come and go all the time. I don't have a clue about GishIT. I did a quick search, and it seem to have departed for dead add-on heaven.
Of course, it would help if a link would be provided. You can look at this blog report about what GishIT was supposed to do.

What a shame. I've been using it for months and it was great. I've had no spam since I started using it.

 

If the extention works, keep using it. But what the link which I provided says that gishIT is not the only answer, but this two years old stuff.

 

Last night I did received a reply from the author. He said that he had renewed his domain.

In the meantime I was looking at alternatives and will continue to try find another one that I like in case this happens again.

This morning I checked and the web site is functioning as well as the program.

It must have been renewed in the past day or two.
