This question has been asked, and answered dozens of times. I will give you a link from Ramona's excellent web site.
Of course, you will have to create the accounts anew, but you can copy/paste any of the correct mail files from another Netscape, or related program.
The correct mail files are those with no extention, i.e. Inbox, Sent, etc.
And, these files should be renamed to prevent overwriting of any file with identical name.

    Welcome to the Forum, Solsylvan!

How did this happen? Did Netscape crash, or did you upgrade Windows, or perhaps had a power outage? It is not unusual to lose the pointer to your Mail & Newsgroups with Netscape 7.2.

I would first check this setting:
    Open Mail & Newsgroups
Click on: Edit | Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings | Server Settings
    Scroll down to: Local directory
Does the path in the Local directory field match the path to your Mail Account?
That path should be similar to this:
    C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\xxxxxxxx.slt\Mail\pop.yourISP.net

If the path is incorrect, then click on the "Browse" button to the right of the Local directory field, and navigate to the correct path for the mail account which contains your mail. Once you have highlighted the correct mail account folder, click "OK ". The correct path will now be shown in the Local directory field.

    Close Netscape, then reopen
    Your Mail should be intact.

I would also suggest disabling Quick Launch, as many users report
that disabling the feature stopped the Lost Mail issue. This may or may not work for your system.

This solution is from one of my Netscape Solutions pages which gives several workarounds for this problem:
Lost Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings

Let us know if this helps, or you have further questions.
