Now i using this laptop with wireless. ( can use internet)
linksys wireless also allow up to 4 direct cable.
If i use direct cable from wireless router. I can't surf net.
If i use direct cable from modem instead Wireless router, I can surf.
( so my laptop network is fine)

If i use direct cable from wirless router to my OLD desktop PC, i also can surf.

How come my laptop cannot use direct cable from wireless. ( my laptop's wireless function OFF when i try this) but
I can used when direct from modem. MY OLD PC can use both wireless and direct cable.

First thing I would check is that the wired network card in the laptop, is set to obtain IPs automatically.

    For XP
    • Find the connection in "Network Connections" and go to the connection properties for the wired network card.
    • Scroll down to "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) ", select that item and click on the properties button.
    • Select "Obtain an IP address automatically "
    • Make sure that "Obtain DNS server address automatically" is also selected.
    • Click OK and OK to close these windows
    • Reboot the PC.

Check to see if the LAN (wired) connection on the laptop is disabled.

Also make sure the patch cable is good.

if the wireless on the laptop is turned on and working
Change the channel in the linksys router from channel 6 to channel 1 or 11
    Change the ssid

Visionof - that's irrelevant. The original poster wireless is working fine. They are having trouble with their wired network!!!!!!
