Outlook mail question pls:

I'm more or less forced to move from OE6 mail to office outlook 97 mail at work and have been using express for a long time.

I've checked every option i can find and don't see a feature to import anything but data base stuff:
I need help copying or importing this and all stuff i guess;

(1) add my oe address book
(2) all pop accounts
(3) all folders and messages

Is there any hope for me???

 

When I needed to transfer something from Outlook to Outlook Express I first exported it to Exchange and then from Exchange to Outlook Express. It may work in reverse also. Outlook Express to Exchange to Outlook. I'd try it but I don't have Outlook or Exchange on the new system. It's worth a try...

I was using Outlook Express 5.5 and Office {Outlook} 97.

 

What i NEED to use and have fuctional now is win2000 and Outlook 97 mail working...

My (NOW) old system is win2000 using OutlookExpress ver6 or IE6....and need to tranfer all this stuff to the above.

From the "file menu" import wizard, there isn't a option to import OE mail, accounts or messages and etc..........

OK, thx Brenda for the exchg thing.....that worked.

BUT now for the accounts ex; pop mail accounts......??? where are they in outlook 97??

Gads, they make it very wierd to chg over.....errrr.

 

Update !!!

My boss up-graded to Office 2000 and it detected and installed everything from outlook-express......no problem now.

 

Geezzz! Just when the fun gets started someone comes along and installs something that does it all for us!
