    Hi,

I'm running OE6 on XP Home and the links in emails have just ceased working.

Have tried numerous and varied links but none will open...this has only recently become an issue.

If someone can assist it would be appreciated.
Have shut down and rebooted but no change.
    Thanks

Thanks Pete...dunno how/where you get all this info from..???google?
    but sorry it didn't work.

These blasted PC's can drive you up the wall sometimes......made available to the public but need super nerds to keep them operating properly.:mad:

I did a Google and came up with this FIX.....Hyperlinks Not Working? Are you having problems using hyperlinks in your email? Try resetting Internet Explorer - from either IE's tools, options menu or Control panel, Internet settings, go to the Programs tab and click the button to reset web settings.

OK - pity - follow the possible solutions posted here ....

Hyperlinks or Pictures Received in E-mail or Newsgroups do not Work
Google is my friend :) - as is the Microsoft Knowledge Base. I have all this stuff bookmarked in Favourites for easy access when required. It's all part of the service :)

go to Control Panel and click on add/remove
at bottom left click on "set program access & defaults
click on m/s windows and make Your browser, I assume internet explorer and email Probably outlook express default
then go to internet and select a page or article and click on send link,
if you have made the two programs above default it will open outlook express with the proper url and you will select who you want to send to. The first time send to yourself
be careful this works and is probably the only solution that will and to my knowledge has never been reported before
