On my bank web site there is an option for me to get a printable page such as for the bank statement or simply a recap of the account.

Today when I click on the option to get a printable page this tiny page pops up in the left upper hand corner of the screen. I can't enlarge it to get to the print option no matter what I try.

The only thing I've messed around with lately is the fonts issue and installing the IE tab in FF.

Can anyone think of any changes I may have made that would cause this? It doesn't seem likely that the banking web site would have done anything to cause this?

I checked to see if the pop=up option under Tools\Options held any clues but found nothing.

    Thanks.

    Pat,

View the page by accessing Print Preview: File | Print Preview

What does the "Scale" show? Try changing the percentage and see if it makes a difference.

    Ramona,

I'm able to do a print preview on the main page us usual, but from the main page, when I click on "Printable Page" I can't do that.

The Printable page just opens in this 1x1 inch page and I don't have the option to do ANYTHING except close it or send it to the taskbar. Even if I double click on the menu bar nothing happens.

Today I'm beginning to think it has to do with the bank site because this doesn't happen with other sites where I want to do it.

And I'm not calling the Regions webmaster or whatever. They are worse than I am in figuring things out.

    Thanks.

And, you can't maximize? I made two bank payments today. One with Chase, was a pain because it insisted that I had not entered the correct password, which worked for the past two months. Their tech people told me to use the old password. After that everything was ok. RBS was good, as usual, and I could select a print page independent of the popup. It sounds like they have something strange. But, for the heck of it, how is it doing in IE?

    Westside,

This is bizarre!! I opened the bank site using my newly acquired IE tab and guess what? The "print page" worked just fine.

I then closed that window out and went to the site using FF and it was the same old thing.

Sooooooooooo- Why, all of a sudden did the FF start doing this? I get on that site several times a week and have never encountered this issue.

Did something change when I installed the IE tab.

It should have made no changes. Just make sure that you don't keep using the IE engine. There is a small icon in the status bar (at the bottom). If you use the Firefox engine, it will have the Firefox icon. Otherwise, you will see the tell-tale IE engine. However, the icon should revert to the original engine, if you close the site, and open another site, or restart the program.

Well, something must have made a change.

I do have the FF icon down at the lower right of the screen. I'll remember to keep and eye on that.

    Thanks.
