Well, I seemed to have solved the BSOD issues by replaceing my RAM. Thanks Mattman for focusing me towards testing the RAM.

Now I have another problem. I went into the BIOS and reset the BIOS settings to default. The only problem is I had a RAID1(MIRRORING) disk set up that I forgot to enable when I set the bios to defualt.

Once i saw two disks I went back in and enabled RAID. The I got a windows screen right before windows logged on saying windows needs to check for consistency on the raid disk. It runs through a quick CHKDSK, with everything OK, and reboots into windows.

So, I used the Nvidia rebuild of raid array, took three hours, but after it was done I still get the blue splash screen wanting to check the raid disk. I always say yes, but it never fixes anything? What do I do to get back to normal???

Hi again, I recognised the name :)
[If you can put a follow up in that previous thread it may give some guidance for others and maybe a reference for those who are trying to find the source of those problems :)]

I am only a student of RAID.

Looks like what you are looking for here:

using the NVraid utility "within Windows ".

Some info on "breaking" and "remirroring" here:

After trying everything, I finally got frustrated and reformated the raid drive (it's not my boot drive BTW). After that windows booted right up with no chkdsk window. I copied the 80 gig back to the raid drive from my backup IDE drive, and all is well now.

I'd like to get that 9 hours of my life back!

If I find I'm spending more than a LITTLE time on a problem, I walk away from it, think about any other avenues and things I have not tried yet and then come back with "renewed vigour ".

Sounds like you have the beast pretty well tamed now , so I hope you don't come across anything else.

    Hope it goes well.

:D Fixing self-imposed problems tend to be harder than "natural" ones.

It may add some "+'s" to our intermediate experience in the end :)
