    Gurus,

I was hoping someone could shed a little light on my situation.

I have a SBS running Windows Server 2003 SBS. I have approximately 25 client machines. I have run into a problem where one of the client machines (AcerPower, Running XP Professional SP2) is not showing up under the "Connect to Client Computers" on our Remote Web Workplace.

I have tried removing the computer from the server via server management and rejoined the domain on the client computer. I have also checked if Remote Desktop is allowed under Right Click My Computer < Remote < Remote Desktop. I am able to connect to the computer from the server using remote desktop connection.

    In Summary -

Unable to connect to Client computer XYZ because it is not showing up under the "Remote Web Workplace "

Computer XYZ has no problems accessing network resources and is able to be remote managed internally using remote desktop.

Thanks for the help and replies.

    -Troy

I checked the Windows Firewall. Port 3389 is open on the client machine.

    Any other ideas?

It's always worth checking DNS. Is the problem PC using the server as primary DNS? Also is the remote PC correctly assigned on the DNS server - is:

    nslookup pc_name

    successful?
