Can I attach a note to a jepeg file?

    I want to attach a note to some jpg files as an explanation about the picture. I don't want make the file name that long. Is that possible?

    May work -- Never used this software - if downloaded scan it first before installing.
    It is FREEWARE.

    Try it out, if it looks like what you need.

    Thanks all, The Paint solution is not really what I'm looking for Picard, but thanks anyway. I'd like to have something that perhaps would have a flyover popup when I rest on the file name so I know what it is. Something similar to some programs help hints or perhaps like Excel allows a comment attached to a cell.

    I'm still working on you idea Dennis. Although I must admit I'm not sure either that I get it, or that it works. I'll have to play with that one a little more.

    charlesvar, you idea is intriguing but that link has a ton of different note programs listed. Did you have a specific one in mind?
