    hi there--

i am one of three users on my computer (Windows Office XP) and the sole administrator.

    i have forgotten my password.

i cannot use the Q and A password retrieval method because i did not fill it in.

we are now effectively without an administrator and cannot add/remove programs, etc.

    any advice?

Sorry but if you read Rule #6 you will see that helping you peel out a password is against bbs rules.

Newt is correct in pointing out that password cracking is banned

Leaves you with backing up the data and reinstalling XP I'm afraid to say. Ho Hum

If you are the Admin - then time for admin type work.

Looks like its time to back up all key files... from all regular user profiles.

Then to a clean full O/S reload. - and this time backup/safely store your admin password.
