Thinking about going to 8 or 9 Netscape

    I'd like some comments about moving from 7.2 (which I've enjoyed for years) to ver. 8 or 9.

    I'll also need some information about saving my 7.2 e-mail and being able to transfer it to ver. 8 or 9.

    I would forget about NS8. However both are browser only, as outlined at the Netscape website.
    .
    Netscape is coming out with its Messenger, still in alpha stage. Messenger, like Thunderbird, upon which it is based will allow you to import your settings on set up. In my experience this works well, except that mail folders will have to be copied and pasted from NS7.2 to whichever Mail program you have.
    You can continue using NS7.2 for mail, but any link in it will not open in NS9.
