[Can't get Wallpaper to display]

Screesaver works fine everthing else works find i just cant get wallpaper to work. I have webshots program that runs screensaver and wallpaper . Have run webshot for 2years now no problem. I did updade on window this morning win turned on puter. Now no wallpaper. Yes i went to proprites and cant get nothen on Desktop to work all shaded out so not to click on .

 

Go into Display Properties>Desktop tab and click on the Customize Desktop button. In the window that opens, click on the Web tab. Uncheck everything there, click OK, then click Apply.

See if you can then change the background.

I've never used Web Shots so I can't offer any help about getting it working.

The problem with being unable to change the Desktop background is often due to a malware infection.

 

Tryed Windows-KB890830-V1.35 . Found nothen . tryed properties Desktop Customize desktop Web no check marks in boxs only 2 boxs 1-is MY CURENT Home Page 2nd box at bottom is Lock desktop items.

 

I got my wallpaper to work. To fix just go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/921049/en-us It will fix problem. No it not webshot that cause problem.
