Please...Need Help Getting the "Tip of the Day" back on my PC

I was just wondering...How to get my "Tip of the Day " to start showing again ?

It's been a long time since I have even seen the Tip of the Day, but I don't know what I/or someone did to remove it. I know that I use to could click on the "TIPS " & it would go thru all of the Tips one at a time. I sometimes found some of the tips to be Very helpful.

HI Chris, If you download WinXP Powertoys (Tweakui) you'll find tips in About when you double click on it.Neil

I'm not very experienced in this kind of stuff, but when I bought my computer, (Compaq) from Circuit City back in December 2003 & had cable i-net hooked up, up in the the toolbar, theere was the word "Tips ". When I would click on it, it would show certain little helpful tips that would be shown down at the bottom of the screen, just above the "tan color" bar that is above the Taskbar.
It would show all the way across & it had like a little arrow on it & when clicked, it would go to another Tip, but if left along, the Tip would change everyday.

I don't jknow what I could have done to take the Tips off or when they got taken off, I just know that I haven't had the Tips for quite some time now, but I haven't noticed because I wasn't using my PC much.

I just tried the "Tour XP" & didn't come up with anything. I went thru ALL of my Programs & didn't see "Tips" anywhere. It may have been removed if it was part of something I removed in the "ADD/REMOVE Program" or something like that, I don't know. I may just have to run my 5 "Restore" disks on my PC & take it back to everything I had when I first got my PC new. There's really nothing important that I would lose.

What the "Tip of the Day" was...is it would just give you some little helpful Tips such as pressing 2 certain keys down would do .... etc. etc. etc.

Maybe someone will chime in with the answer to my problem.[/SIZE][/FONT]
