When you right click on any column in Windows Explorer, you can see the above option.
Is there a way to permanently apply this option to all my folder, and subfolders in entire computer?
    Thanks:)

    Hi broni,

Applying view settings works pretty much the way it does in XP, just a different way to get at it.

When a folder view is customized, including the Size option:

Under Organize (in upper left corner) > Folder Options > View tab > Apply to Folders.

But, it applies to "folders of this type ". When I plugged in my Flash drive, the size option was the same as it always was.

Yeah, that's the culprit. I even don't quiet understand what Windows means by "this type ".

    Same here :)

The only info I could find so far on the subject of "type" is Windows default folders like Videos/My Videos - Documents/My documents, etc.

Yeah, I've noticed that. For instance, they have different default columns.
It looks like the better way is to right click on a column, then "More ", then adjust column width manually.
For instance, I adjusted "Name" column to 300, then applied to all folders.
Many got adjusted, but I had to repeat same process for music, movies, etc. folders.
I'll have to do more search. Maybe there is some freeware to do this.
