I have a friend that has a Dell CD that is called "Express Upgrade" that is Vista Home Premium 64bit.

He doesnt want it and I do.

    1. Can I install it on my computer? Is it a real thing? Do I need Vista to use the upgrade??

    Thanks

    Hello xringx,
Do you have a Dell? Dell brands their discs, can't use on anything else. And you need 64 bit capability.

Yes, it's the real thing. "Express" is a marketing term.

You don't need Vista to be present. You do need an MS OS disc (proof you already have an OS), which can be another Vista - XP, or 9X.

    Hello hydro,
    Where do you see Laptop?
