Hi, I have a older PC with Windows XP Home ( registered) and I have been given a newer stronger PC, can I remove the OS from my old PC and reinstall it onto the new PC.
I know you can only have it on one PC but does it matter which PC.
    Any help or info please.
    Cheers Des.

Hi, Arie. Thanks for that I have printed it off, and I was wanting to do a format as the newer PC is very slow even when I have removed nearly all the gear, if I do that the OS should load out of the "D "drive or is there some thing I should check before I format it?
    Thanks Des.

You can, and just boot from the installation CD. You may still be asked to format again - it's been a while since I made a fresh install on a clean drive.
