Bothersome ads

I have been getting full page ads too often when trying to get to many sites and have trouble getting past them. They don't come up OVER the desired site. They seem to replace it with its own URL.

They are from Microsoft and re-entering the desired URL does not help. The same ad comes up instead.

THere is no place on the ad to opt-out or anything else.

Not quite sure, Steve. It did get me to Pcworld. but ln between our posts I installed an app recommended by Steve Bass called AdMuncher. It has done its job since then so I will have to give it more time to see if that is what is removing that MS unwanted site.
