    1) How can I stop outgoing messages being copied to my "sent" folder? I have set up a rule that all o/g messages are copied to my inbox as I find it easier to file both sides of a conversation that way so there's no need to copy to sent.

    2) I have been using SyncMyCal to synchronise my calendar with Google. Can anyone recommend a way to sync mail? Office 03/XP at work and Office 07/Vista on my laptop.

    3) How can I copy mail and appointments from the work computer to my laptop? I cannot see a way to email this data and the "sharing" option is greyed out.

Thanks in advance for any advice on these queries.

I can only answer #1 for you:

Tools > Options > Preferences tab > E-mail Options button. Uncheck Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder.

#2 - the good old fashion way to do this is to make sure in Account Setup that you are "leave mail on server." Both machines should "receive" the same mail....Anytime you send mail - BCC yourself.

#3 - Can use the Invite Attendees function and invite your self;)

Thanks guys. In Outlook 07 I can't see the option you suggest Arie. I've looked everywhere in Tools/Options but where would it be?

Thanks Steve - I was trying to avoid me and others using the same account having to remember to type the cc so I've set up a rule that does it automatically. I actually want to import all the mail and appointments from the work computer to my laptop, but it seems this is not possible, having done a bit of research.
