Hello, I'm wondering if I can "delete" or remove a date on the Restore Calender that I know to be bad or corrupted. I don't want to restore that date by accident if I forget the day.
    Thanks,,Paul

System Restore is DANGEROUS unless handled CAREFULLY ( experience speaking )

If you make changes today YESTERDAYS SR may be useless. Or at least troublesome.

I made changes and did some cleanup last evening and this AM. All seems to be OK. System Restore shut down and restarted.

So I suggest to PAULDEP in this case to shutdown and restart SR. That way you will be more assured if an up-to-date one.

Another thought. I see SR as nothing more than another name for BACKUP. And if backups are out of date they are useless.

    Agree to GO SOX.

    Gotta go help Nancy

Thank you Pete and BillyBob ...Everything that you two said sounds good...or bad, depending how you look at it. So i'll just leave well enough alone. There are a bunch of "Red Sox Nation" on this great Forum so its nice to have the support. I live in Revere,MA. 1 mile North of the city of Boston. Pats go for 8-0 today and Boston College is 9-0 and maybe #1 in country!
So thanks again for the help and the heads up. Love this forum, its a learning experience each and every time.

    Hi Paul

I was born in Western Mass ( close to Greenfiled ) 75 years ago. Around 68years ago I spent 7-8 weeks in Mass Gen Hosp with a Serious Head injury. And even after I got out we did a lot of traveling back and forth for a few years. I would bet that the City has changed a bit since then.
LOL. My kids tell me that is my problem today. They did not do a good repair job.
But I am here to read, reply and try to help. Can't ask for anymore than that.

    Being called to go shopping.
