A strange thing has started happening to all my images whether JPG or tiff or psd etc. If i open a folder in my computer or ACDSee or the browse window of any program it displays the icons as the images that they are (Im not seeing thumbnails). This really slows my machine down a lot I have tried to go to file types and change the icon but no luck. I think this problem started after loading Photoshop 7 Im not sure.

    Hi najipatel
This worked once earlier today..so maybe it will for you as well?
Set one folder the way you want it. Then, in the File Menu, go to Tools ....then Folder Options. Go to the View tab, and click "Apply to All Folders. "
