Current user is logged out when Remote Desktop user connects

    I have remote desktop enabled on a windows xp pro machine.

    when i connect to that machine from another winodws pro machine... it locks out the current user of that machine.

    is this just a policy setting or do I have to use thrid party software to connect to the computer without locking out the current user?

    The lock out is normal.

    I think maybe one of the many VNC connection apps will help.

    Is it then possible to have the person working on that computer while you are logged on as a different user (administrator)?
