Trying to create FTP site with 2k server

    I have the IIS installed, what do I do from here? I'm helping a teacher of mine just trying to share files on the net rather than JUST the LAN. PLEASE help me. Haven't gotten far at all. Thanks.

    Is the server set up to let the outside world see it? As in, a URL, Internic assigned IP address, etc?

    A good how-to on setting up NT4 (and 2K will be pretty much the same) is Here.

    and I imagine that at least 1/4 of the 89,000 hits I got from http://www.google.com with ftp server setup are microsoft related or else deal with both unix/linux and microsoft setup.
