Interestingly, I had reinstalled Seamonkey1.1.4, after two month's absence, only yesterday, having had some serious problem. I noticed something strange, only at this website. Before exiting the site, I regularly, go back to the forum, i.e. http://www.windowsbbs.com/forumdisplay.php?f=5 but when I reopen the site, invariably, it opens on http://www.windowsbbs.com/showthread.php?p=338262#post338262
This is an old thread. Why would it do it? Even with 1.1.5 (I uninstalled 1.1.4) It never does that with any of my several other programs.

    Fulvio,

    Very interesting indeed.....
    A couple of questions ?

Did you recycle any profile or profile data ?

When you close and RE-Open this site, how are you doing it ? (Bookmark ?) or what.

Please do a file search in the suspect profile for:

    *.* - containing = "post338262" ( without the quotes)

    Does anything show up ?

    regards:catjlddavis

I had created a new profile for 1.1.4. I copied the bookmarks.html file from the old profile, and that's it. I was using a Tab, for windows bbs but this time, I decided to use a bookmark, and there was no oddity.
I have never seen anything like that. My Seamonkey(Suiterunner)2.0.1pre has a tab for Windowsbbs, and it behaves normally. In case people don't know the new Seamonkey will request that a new profile be created.

    Capt.,
I think that there was something about having windowsbbs saved as a Tab. The issue went away no sooner that I removed the Wi9ndowsbbs Tab.

Yes. Windowsbbs opened in a Tab, and always the odd way I described. After I replace that Tab with something else, and saved it, the problem went away when I opened this site from a bookmark.
For instance, I am using NS7.2, and I have four saved tabs: 1.Nebraska Public TV, 2.Iowa Public TV; 3. the local ISP, Cox;4. The Folkhouse, a local venue.
Windoesbbs was at position 4. None of the other sites ever went back to the past, and Windowsbbs was the only one.
More fascinating is the fact that this has not happened only with NS7.2, but, also with other gecko browsers. I don't logoff Windowsbbs.

    Fulvio,

    I am very confused......
I thought we were talking about SM - yet you mention NS 7.2 ?
    You said:
Yet you say that "4. The Folkhouse, a local venue" and then say that:
    "Windoesbbs was at position 4"

I have NO IDEA what you have.

Is it working CORRECTLY now or not ?

Is this similar to the problem you had before with "back buttons" ?

    regards:captjlddavis

    1. I was using NS7.2, and the issue, as I said was
, meaning not only the browser which I was using, but also in Seamonkey.
Don't try to follow me. It is next to impossible. I am using, now Navigator9.0.0.1.
As for the last question, I have not had any back arrow problem since I created a new profile for what is now Seamonkey1.1.5.
Do we have our ducks, more or less, in a row?
