I dont want to use true type fonts

    Hello everybody!

    I need ton print in the defoult printer font, so i need to overwrite the true type font in windows. How do I do that??

    How about setting the document font to the one your printer uses as it's default?

    Otherwise, you can open the document in a program like Note Tab Light (free download) that will use the printer's default font unless you force it to use another.

    If neither of those options will work for you, please give more details.

    Well, I tried using curier or times new roman, but it doesnt work. I want my dot matrix printer to print faster, but always windows fonts make it work very slow. I think there must be a way to configure windows to send to the printer a non true type font, just like DOS does. Can you help me?

    Install the Microsoft "Generic / Text Only" printer driver.

    if I install the generic text driver I will loose the special features of my printer. My printer has tree tray paper cause it is a slip/ticket printer.
    is there any other way?
