I've lost all my file, edit, help etc menus inside my folders, as well as the nav bar and the back/forward buttons. I can't turn it back on because it won't give me any customize option when I right click on it.

    Windows XP 64

Any help? I browsed thru the registry to see if there was a setting I could change under Policies\Explorer, but didn't see anything.

I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

    Thanks

    John

JohnDD - Welcome to the Board :)
    - Is the view as normal in Explorer with no folders open?

If so go to Tools > Folder Options > View and click Apply to all folders. If that fails try Reset all folders.

Could try F11, but that only shows/hides the menu bar leaving the iconbar in view.

BTW I run XP in Classic Mode so there may be other tricks in XP Luna view.

F11 worked.. it was the same in explorer with no folders open.

When I went full screen it gave me the partial navigation bar and I could re-select the file menu and position it back like it was supposed to be... I have no idea what made the stuff go away though.

I appreciate the help very much.

    Thanks!
