Best Type of RAM?

    Heya
    A mate of mine told me something bout RDRAM, told me its better than DDR...

    these 2 best types or my mate lying?? Im confused and want answers...

    If both *****, then can someone please tell me best type of RAM? Im about to build a new comp and need to know...

    I think you need to decide what kind of cpu you want first. If you are buying an AMD chip (my preference) RDRAM won't work for you. If you are buying an Intel chip then you can use RDRAM.

    When you decide which Mother Board you will use for your new build, your choice of RAM will be determined by what the Mother Board requires. ;)
