    KGANESAN1976 - Welcome to the Board :)
You do not have enough RAM. With only 128 Mb RAM Windows will run no faster than a tortoise - you need an absolute minimum of 256 Mb - 512 Mb is more realistic and 1Gb is better still.

BTW - Please kill the Caps Lock key.

When you restart the computer, watch the HDD (Hard Disk Drive) LED. If it is slow at startup, then gets better, investigate startup programs. If it "generally" slow, look at programs that run in the background, these might include malware.

Go to Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) -> Performance. Look for high levels in CPU Usage or Page File Usage. They might "grow ".

Watch Task Manger information at startup and when the computer might get slow.

If you think you might have malware (spyware, virus, etc), look at the information/search, in the Security forum.

    Matt

Wouldn't that then be 12MB ram? 12MB ram is very possible... I think a computer I have from 12 years ago had like 64MB Ram... I think it's most like malware/spyware/adware/viruses or too many programs at startup. His specs are pretty good, and they shouldn't go that slow, unless he expects a super fast computer.
