Alot lost

Hi, I just upgraded from windows me to windows xp home, all was going well for a while untill i tried to create a new system retore point today, my sytem restore opens up blank,my help and support wont open, windows update opens blank, cant get it to work from safe mode either, can you help me?

Welcome to the boards.
Not sure if this will work...but give it a shot.
Run the following commands from start/run. Run each line individually. After each run, you should see a short message stating the command was successful. The first command is the one most likely to work.

regsvr32 Urlmon.dll

regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll

regsvr32 Shell32.dll


regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
