    Firefox/Vista
Every time, after my computer cleaning session, all my automatic logons (user name, passwords) got erased from Firefox Password Manager.
I choose pretty carefully, what to clean, and what not, but those settings are always gone.
I just started using RoboForm, so it shouldn't be a problem from now on, but just for a sake of knowing, where is that data located?
    Thanks.

    broni,

Passwords are contained in the signons2.txt file. Also associated with this file is the key3.db.

I'm sure you've checked the settings for cleaning private data in:
    Tools | Options | Privacy
    Scroll down to: Private Data
Click on the "Settings" tab to ensure you aren't clearing the passwords and cookies.

Some third party app. might be erasing your passwords, so you need to find out which one. Do you have a Registry Cleaner that deletes Cookies? If so, this might be the problem. I use CCLeaner, and it will delete Cookies in Firefox. Do you sign out when you leave a Forum? If so, this removes the cookie for the site, such as this BBS.

    Thanks, Ramona.
    To answer your questions...
This is what I wanted to know. I may try to lock these files for the future.

That option is unchecked. I never clear passwords, nor cookies (except for tracking ones (Spybot, etc.))

I use a set of 3rd party cleaners, but since I'm the only user, I always make sure non of my private data (passwords, cookies, visited sites, etc.) is ever cleared.
As you can see, I can freely visit all of those porno sites....LOL....just kidding.

Anywho, you may be right, it can be some of those reg cleaners. With so many entries, I guess, it's easy to overlook something. I'll have to take a closer look next time.

Anyway, it seems to be minor issue now, since I moved to RoboForm.
I just wanted to know about those files location, so thanks again.
