Why does F3 now open Excel?

Usually I use F3 all the time to "Verify" within a particular program (TradeStation).

Now, all of a sudden, even from the desktop, F3 opens up Excel. I have a macro generator (AutoHotKey) but haven't touched it in months.

I've never been a big user of Excel and barely know it.

Earlier this morning, I replaced the batteries in my wireless Logitech keyboard LX700. Could some keys have been accidentally pressed when I had the keyboard upside down? I'm using XP-Home.

How can I kill this unwanted link to F3?

    Never mind!

I found that the F-Mode button on the keyboard had been pressed (not even sure what it's supposed to do but it shifted several other F keys).
