This is so basic i should be able to solve it ,but don't want to end up with bigger mess.
A friend of ours has a 'puter with Windows 98se and somehow she got the start button(icon) on top right of Desktop. Everything is on the right side, clock at bottom right.
I did try to change it, but am tending to move everythig to the left, rather than get it to the bottom.Yes i got double arrows, but i can not seem to get Start to Bottom left.

When you see double arrow, click your mouse, hold the button, and expand your taskbar to double line. Then click on expanded line, hold, and you should be able to drag your taskbar to the bottom of your screen.

    Dear Broni:
I do NOT get a double line, just a darker line, which i seem to just move to left.(good thing it won't go past the halfway point)
I tried 6 times. Is it perhaps in the wrist motion ??

It is tricky. You have to do it slowly.
Since you have your taskbar on right hand side, move your cursor to the left edge of your taskbar until it becomes double arrow. Click, hold your mouse button, and drag it slowly to the left. You should have double-wide taskbar, now.
