Windows Vista question about upgrading vista

    I am currently running windows vista with 512mb of ram i know this is the minimum and have been thinking about upgrading to either 1gb or 1,280mb would i see a difference?
    I mainly browse the internet or play 3D games

    Sure. You'll see and feel and taste a bunch of difference upgrading from 512.

    I think you'd be fine with 1gb - although I've heard 2 is better.

    I currently have an HP Pavilion dv9410us notebook with 1gb of RAM and I find it decent. I may upgrade it to 2gb later though.

    It all depends on if you think you'd be happy with 1gb for all your computing needs.

    If you've been ok with 512mb of ram then I'd say upgrade to 1gb and you'll see a faster performance.
