New Win Vista - Can't blog now

I have a blog I use for work. I can view but no longer able to post to this blog. Things were fine before getting two new computers both with Vista. Is there something that may be set incorrectly that I can change?

Is the system accepting the site cookies?

Does the site acknowlege your presence otherwise?

Can you contact the site Admin if there is one?

 

What message(s) do you get? - No messages given, just no post after going through the motions

Is the system accepting the site cookies? - I have not had any problems so far with cookies

Does the site acknowlege your presence otherwise? - I can view and start to post...but it does not appear after I hit "post" as it had in the past.

Can you contact the site Admin if there is one? - No contact for the blog, but I did try to contact the web administrator, so far no return contact.

When it did work (on XP I assume), were you using IE6 or using IE7 then?

Do you have another Browser installed and if so, have you tried with that?

 

Yes it did work with XP, with IE6

I only have IE7 now ... I did try to use MSN but still the same problem.

 

Ok...so it isn't a vista or an IE problem...what else could be preventing my posts?

 

Hi Jim,

To eliminate IE's settings as a problem, put the site into your Trusted Zone; see if that solves the problem.

Click on Tools in the upper right hand corner of the page > Internet Options > Security tab > Trusted Sites > Sites bar and add the site's address.

 

Sorry, at work for a few days and unable to respond from there. I made the changes and still have the same problem.

Have you tired cleaning the TIF files out? Might be corrupted.

From start type in Disk Cleanup in the search area.

 

I did that, but no change. My only other assumption is my IP may have been blocked, it shouldn't be, but that is the only other explanation I have for this problem. With no point of contact to ask, I’m out of luck. Thanks for your help.
