Ok, this is odd. A few users were asking me as to where the OLK folder was and they said that any attachment they do a saveas for, defaults to the OLK folder...? OS's are XP SP2. Even if you do a saveas, change it to MyDocuments or anywhere else for that matter, the next time an attachment of the same program is opened, it should saveas to the last DIR path. That however is not the case here. I did a saveas a few times and it keeps going back to the OLK by default.... :dontknow:

Make sure you either have Outlook closed before doing this, or if it's running while doing this, close it when this is done. Let me know if you have any questions.

    1. Open regedit

    2. Nagivate to: HKEY_CURRENT USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Options

    3. Right-click on Options, choose New | String Value, type DefaultPath, and press [Enter].

    4. Double-click the DefaultPath icon to open the Edit String dialog box.

    5. In the Value Data text box, enter the path to the folder you want to use as your default for saving e-mails and attachments. Example: C:\My Docs

    6. Click OK and then close the Registry Editor.
