Unable to delete messages in OE6

    I am unable to delete messages in Outlook Express 6. The trash folder is missing. I searched my computer for the DBX file extension, it only found my AutoCAD files. Is there something I could have missed.

    The dbx files for OE are hidden files....

    The Deleted Items.dbx is known to get corrupted. If and when you find it, delete it. It'll get recreated.

    I found the DBX file and deleted then, emptied recycling bin, restarted the computer, checked to see that it was gone and restarted OE6. There was still no Deleted Items folder. Should it have reapeared?

    Try Deleting an old mail and see if it comes back then.

    It won't let me delete the old message. Using the Delete key or the button in the toolbar.

    And still no DBX Deleted Items in my Local Settings folder.
