OK...I got this new Vista "baby" 2 days ago. So far, so good, and I like it a lot.
I have a minor problem, though.
When I install a new program, Windows Explorer (being open) will behave two ways:
    1. If a program installs desktop shortcut by itself, its installation folder will show up in Program Files right away.
    2. If a program doesn't create desktop shortcut, and I need to create a shortcut by myself, when I go to Program Files, I can't see installed program folder. Clicking View>Refresh won't help. Collapsing, and re-expanding Program Files folder won't help. If I close, and reopen Windows Explorer, new program folder will be there.

Now, before I even start to play with Windows Explorer, if I click on Desktop shortcut in my taskbar, and then I navigate:
Desktop>Computer>C drtive>Program Files, I CAN see new program folder, and all its files.

No biggy, but I wonder, if anyone else had similar experience.
    Thanks.

Looks like the solution to me-> "If I close, and reopen Windows Explorer, new program folder will be there. "

Or opening up Explorer and second time...

    Well, it's easy to say:eek:
I was moving from Win 2K to Vista, and obviously, I had to reinstall tens of programs, so that semi-solution was time consuming.
I'm pretty much done with my migration, I just wanted to know, if anyone else experienced anything like that.
