I bought my son a used Dell GX260 SFF computer and am having trouble with the display settings. I installed a new hard drive and a fresh copy of XP, but that hasn't solved the problem. Under display settings, it only show 640 X 480 and 4 bit color. There are no other options that are available. I tried starting in safe mode to see if I could make changes, but that didn't help. The computer is currently hooked up to a Dell 15" lcd monitor and the monitor works fine on my other computers. Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Dan

First question - have you installed the chipset drivers for the motherboard and the graphics drivers? Should be available on the Dell website.

That solved the issue. I appreciate the advice.
