    Sure.
    Start/control panel/user accounts/create new account.
    give it a name.
    Use that one for a few days and see if it stays normal.

    napster, keep Process Explorer open and the next time that process spikes the cpu usage up, repeat the process of generating a Process Explorer log with that process selected, then post the log here for me.

    i cant seem to stop windows messenger and i think it is the problem

    i disabled it from services and it keeps coming back (messenger) i kill it and it comes again :) **** how do i stop that thing

    hello everyone i fixed the problem it was from the bios i recently disabled the sata native support because i was insatlling win vista, and didnt turn it back on when went back on xp thanks to all of you for the gr8 support really thanks
