Hello Folks, Am using PB computer running XP home. I must have clicked something by mistake. The text below each icon on desktop is highlighted by a little blue box. Using the search facility produced one similar question. The solution given did not work in this case. I would appreciate any help to restore the situation. Rrgards, William.

Try all of the suggestions given here.

If that's what you already tried, we'll at least have a better starting place for others to chime in with something different.

You're welcome, William. :) Thanks for lettings us know.

Did the instructions in the MVPS link I provided work for you or did you solve your problem some other way?

If you solved your problem some other way, please provide details so other people with the same/similar problem might benefit.

I was thinking about your problem this morning and wondered if your wallpaper was a .JPG image instead of a .BMP image. Was going to ask you about that before I saw your follow-up post.
