Hi - I haven't touched base in qjuite a while because things have been going pretty well for me on the Internet. Now I have a problem dealing with the images features on this edition. When I am on DLS or wireless I always let images load automatically because speed is not an issue. However, when I'm on dialup I don't want images to load automatically. I go to Tools>Options>Contents and uncheck "load images automatically ". Then I go to "Exceptions" and put in a couple of sites where I want pictures to load such as my home page. I click on OK. When I go back to my home page I have to restart FF in order to get the home page images to load. However, every url I visit now loads images. When I go back into the contents menu Load Images Automatically is checked. Strange. If I close FF then start over the Load Images Automatically box is checked. Now only the exceptions I have listed load with images. Any thoughts?

#2 If I open a web page and images are not loaded how can I get them to load? If I close out and reload that does nothing. I did install ImgLikeOpera which is a neat little program. Howevr, I'd like to be able to tell Firefox to load images on a page if I decide I want them. Is there a way to load images from the FF menu without having to go through the tedious steps or do I need to use ImgLikeOpera each time?

    Thanks

    lgbest,

The new test Profile might cure this problem. Let us know.

    Graham,

Had my creatures mixed up, sorry about that!

Sounds like Firefox is confused by the changes to your image preferences. Try creating a separate Profile for Dial-up, rather than changing image preferences when you switch from DSL to Dial-up.
