    Hello,

Can anyone tell me how to correct this? I used a program called "E-backup" and was testing it out. I restored the identity "greg30" after a backup. It only had a few files in it, so I was just testing to see how it worked.

Now, when I reboot my computer, I get this message when trying to open OE 6. When I highlight an identity and press O.K., it does take me to the identity. If I close out of Outlook Express 6 and still leave computer running, I do not get the message above again, even if opening OE 6 again. Only happens on restart. This has never happened before. Any ideas?
    I am using 98SE, Outlook Express 6.

    Thanks in advance.

File - Identities - Manage Identities - Properties.

    Is "Require a Password" checked?

Is this what you are referring to?

All identities are unchecked like the one above.

Are you being asked for your POP3 password? If so, go to Tools - Accounts - Mail - Properties - Severs and check "Remember Password ".
